DCGS Shade Inaugural Match Against PGA Assistants

The young up and coming players from the Darren Clarke Golf School won the inaugural match between themselves and the PGA Assistants, held at The Hilton Templepatrick Hotel & County Club in December 2011. The final score of 10 to 3 to the Darren Clarke School belied the idea of the event in which the Darren Clarke students gained a

great insight into PGA Life and a possible future in golf. At the after golf “bun worry” PGA Hon. Secretary Phil Posnett thanked the Darren Clarke School for their hospitality and said it would be an honour for the PGA to host a return match in March of 2012.
